Ingredients
- Drumstick Leaves – 2 cups tightly packed
- Shallot – 1cup finely chopped
- Red chilli-2
- Coconut(grated) – 1/4th cup
- Salt- to taste
- To Temper :
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Urad Dal – 1 tsp
Directions
- Step 1 Take the pan & heat the oil
- Step 2 Add mustrad seed and let it splutter
- Step 3 Add urad dal
- Step 4 Add chopped Shallot(small onion) and saute it well
- Step 5 Add red chilli. Saute it till onions turns to transparent
- Step 6 Add Drumstick Leaves and Saute till raw smell leaves
- Step 7 Cover it and cook for 10 minutes (If its a tender Drumstick Leaves, please do not add water). If the leaves are tender it may cook fast.
- Step 8 Add salt and grated coconut. Saute it well.
- Step 9 Serve it hot with white rice.
