How To Make Perfect & Soft Gulab Jamun at home/ Khoya Gulab Jamun Recipe preparation with step by step photos and a quick video.

Ingredients
  • Khoya (mawa) -200 gms
  • Paneer -60 gms
  • Semolina -1 tbsp
  • Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Maida - 40 gms
  • Pistachio powder - 2 tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • For sugar syrup
  • Sugar- 500 gms
  • Water -250 ml
  • Rosewater -1 tbsp
  • Cardamon powder- 1 tsp
Directions
  • Step 1 Take a heavy bottom pan and add sugar
  • Step 2 Add water and mix it well. Allow it to boil for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Step 3 When Sugar syrup turns slightly sticky, add rose water to it.
  • Step 4 Add cardamon powder mix and it well. Cover the lid and keep it aside
  • Step 5 To make a dough, add panner and mash it well
  • Step 6 Add refined flour (maida), semolina, baking soda and mix it together. Keep it aside.
  • Step 7 Add mawa and mash it well
  • Step 8 Add panner dough combine with khoya mixture. Mix the two dough and massage it well.
  • Step 9 Mix gently to form a smooth dough.
  • Step 10 Take a small ball sized dough and make a ball without crack.
  • Step 11 Once the balls are ready, deep fry it in warm oil.
  • Step 12 Once the balls are fried, add it into the sugar syrup.
  • Step 13 Allow the gulab jamun to rest in the sugar syrup for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
  • Step 14 Delicious Gulab Jamun is ready!

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan and add sugar

8. Add panner dough combine with khoya mixture. Mix the two dough and massage it well.

9. Mix gently to form a smooth dough.
