Ingredients
- Idli - 5 Leftover
- Big Onion - 1 medium sized chopped finely
- Coriander leaves- 1tbsp chopped
- Salt -to taste
- To Temper:
- Oil -1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
- Urad dal -1 tsp
- Chana dal - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - few
- Green Chillies - 2
- Red chillies - 2
Directions
- Step 1 Take a bowl and add leftover idli
- Step 2 Crumble the idli with your fingers and make it ready. Keep it aside
- Step 3 Take a pan and add oil
- Step 4 Add chana dal
- Step 5 Add urad dal
- Step 6 Add mustard seeds and let it splutter
- Step 7 Add chopped onion and saute it well
- Step 8 Add red chilli, green chili and saute it well
- Step 9 Add curry leaves and saute it well
- Step 10 Add crumbled idli and mix gently
- Step 11 Add coriander leaves and mix it well
- Step 12 Serve idli upma along with coconut chutney.
