Ingredients
- Cauliflower -1 medium
- Corn flour - 2 tbsp
- Rice flour - 2 tbsp
- Garam masala powder -½ tsp
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
- Curry leaves - few
- Green chili - 1 tsp
- Salt - as required
- Oil - to deep fry
Directions
- Step 1 Take a large bowl and add florets gobi
- Step 2 Add salt
- Step 3 Add three cups of hot water and mix it well
- Step 4 Allow to blanch for 5 minutes and drain off the water and keep it aside
- Step 5 Take a mixing bowl and add cornflour
- Step 6 Add rice flour
- Step 7 Add salt
- Step 8 Add ginger garlic paste
- Step 9 Add chili powder
- Step 10 Add garam masala
- Step 11 Add water and mix it well
- Step 12 Add few curry leaves
- Step 13 Add chopped greenchili and mix it well
- Step 14 Add blanched gobi and mix it well until coating batter uniformly
- Step 15 Drop the masala coated gobi one by one into the medium hot oil.
- Step 16 Stir continuously and fry 5 to 8 minutes until turns golden and crisp.
- Step 17 Drain off the gobi over a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
- Step 18 Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon juice. Enjoy gobi 65
