How To Make Perfect & Soft Gulab Jamun at home/ Khoya Gulab Jamun Recipe preparation with step by step photos and a quick video.
Ingredients
- Khoya (mawa) -200 gms
- Paneer -60 gms
- Semolina -1 tbsp
- Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- Maida - 40 gms
- Pistachio powder - 2 tsp
- Oil for frying
- For sugar syrup
- Sugar- 500 gms
- Water -250 ml
- Rosewater -1 tbsp
- Cardamon powder- 1 tsp
Directions
- Step 1 Take a heavy bottom pan and add sugar
- Step 2 Add water and mix it well. Allow it to boil for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Step 3 When Sugar syrup turns slightly sticky, add rose water to it.
- Step 4 Add cardamon powder mix and it well. Cover the lid and keep it aside
- Step 5 To make a dough, add panner and mash it well
- Step 6 Add refined flour (maida), semolina, baking soda and mix it together. Keep it aside.
- Step 7 Add mawa and mash it well
- Step 8 Add panner dough combine with khoya mixture. Mix the two dough and massage it well.
- Step 9 Mix gently to form a smooth dough.
- Step 10 Take a small ball sized dough and make a ball without crack.
- Step 11 Once the balls are ready, deep fry it in warm oil.
- Step 12 Once the balls are fried, add it into the sugar syrup.
- Step 13 Allow the gulab jamun to rest in the sugar syrup for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
- Step 14 Delicious Gulab Jamun is ready!
