Ingredients
- Chicken - ½ kg
- Onion - 2 chopped
- Fennel(Sombu/Saunf) - 1 tsp
- Cloves (Karampu/Lavang) - 2
- Cinnamon stick (Pattai/Dalchini) - 1 inch
- Star Anise (Anisipu/Chakkar phool) -1
- Cardamom - 2
- Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Tomato - 1 chopped
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - ½ tsp
- Jeera powder -
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper powder - 1 ½ tsp
- Cashew powder - 2 tbsp
Directions
- Step 1 Take a pan and add oil
- Step 2 Add cinnamon stick (Pattai/Dalchini)
- Step 3 Add cloves (Karampu/Lavang)
- Step 4 Add cardamom
- Step 5 Add star Anise (Anisipu/Chakkar phool)
- Step 6 Add crushed fennel(Sombu/Saunf)
- Step 7 Add chopped onion and saute it well
- Step 8 Add ginger garlic paste and saute it well
- Step 9 Add chopped tomato and saute it well
- Step 10 Add turmeric powder
- Step 11 Add red chilli powder
- Step 12 Add coriander powder
- Step 13 Add jeera powder
- Step 14 Add garam masala powder
- Step 15 Add salt to taste and saute it for few minutes
- Step 16 Add cleaned chicken and saute it well
- Step 17 Cover the lid and cook it for 15 minutes
- Step 18 Add cashew powder and mix it well
- Step 19 Add freshly ground pepper and mix it well
- Step 20 Cover the lid and cook it for 2 minutes
- Step 21 Add curry leaves and mix it well
- Step 22 Yummy Pepper chicken dry is ready.
