Ingredients
- Channa – 1 cup
- Coconut grated– 2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- To Temper:
- Oil -1 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chillies – 2
- Asafoetida(Hing) - pinch
- Curry leaves – few
Directions
- Step 1 Take one cup of channa and Soak for 8 hours.
- Step 2 Drain the water from soaked channa.
- Step 3 Take presure cooker and add soaked channa with 4-5cups of water.Add 1tsp of salt.
- Step 4 pressure cook for until soft or 5 whistles.
- Step 5 Take the pan and heat the oil
- Step 6 Add mustard seeds & let it splutter.
- Step 7 Add urad dal & let it splutter.
- Step 8 Add dired red chilies
- Step 9 Add Asafoetida(Hing), curry leaves and saute well
- Step 10 Add cooked channa and saute well
- Step 11 Add grated coconut and saute well
- Step 12 Delicious sundal is ready .Its very healthy guilt free snack..
