Ingredients
- For Puri
- Sooji / semolina / rava -1 cup
- Maida / plain flour / all purpose flour / refined flour -2 tbsp
- Baking soda- ¼ tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil -1 tbsp
- Water-½ cup
- Murmura / puffed rice / churumuri-1 cup
- Green chutney - 1 tbsp
- Onion- 1 chopped
- Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
- Carrot - 1 tbsp
Directions
- Step 1 Take a large mixing bowl and add sooji
- Step 2 Add maida
- Step 3 Add salt
- Step 4 Add baking soda
- Step 5 Add oil and mix it well
- Step 6 Add water and knead well
- Step 7 Cover and rest for 20 minutes or untill the rava absorbs moisture.
- Step 8 Knead the dough for 5 minutes
- Step 9 Divide the dough into half and dust with maida.
- Step 10 Roll the dough as thin as possible using a rolling pin.
- Step 11 Take a small cup and start to make small puris.
- Step 12 Drop the prepared puri and press with the spoon to puff up.
- Step 13 Fry the puri till golden brown and crisp.
- Step 14 Drain over paper towel. Repeat to finish.
- Step 15 Golgappa puri is ready to prepare pani puri or bhel puri.
- Step 16 Take a mixing bowl and add puffed rice
- Step 17 Add puri
- Step 18 Add onion
- Step 19 Add green chutney
- Step 20 Add grated carrot
- Step 21 Add chopped coriander leaves
- Step 22 Add bhel puri gravy and mix it well
- Step 23 Add crushed puri
- Step 24 Add finely chopped onions
- Step 25 Add grated carrot
- Step 26 Add finely chopped coriander
