Restaurant Style Matar Paneer | Matar paneer ki sabji preparation with step by step photos and a quick video. Matar Paneer is one of the most popular Punjabi dishes. It’s a creamy and rich north Indian curry recipe prepared from paneer cubes and green peas. Paneer (Indian cottage cheese) and matar (green peas) are simmered together in a luscious gravy made with tomatoes, onions, cashews, and spices. The cashews give a rich taste to this dish. It is an ideal gravy based curry recipe to be served with rice, roti, chapati, or any Indian flatbreads. If your tomatoes are too tart, consider adding a pinch of sugar to the dish. This is completely optional and it’s up to you to add it or not.
