Ingredients
- Paneer- 200 gm cubed (Indian cottage cheese)
- Cream - 3 tbsp (fresh cream or homemade malai)
- Paneer -2 tbsp, grated
- Tomatoes -3
- Water -½ cup
- Cashews -10
- Cloves (Karampu/Lavang) - 4
- Cinnamon stick (Pattai/Dalchini) - ½ inch
- Cardamom pods -2
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Butter - 1 tbsp
- Bay leaf(tej patta) -1
- Onions -1 chopped
- Ginger garlic paste -1tbsp
- Coriander powder(daniya powder) - 2 tsp
- Garam masala - ½ tsp
- Cumin powder- 1 tsp
- Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Kasuri methi leaves - 1 tbsp
- Salt -to taste
- Hot water - ½ cup
- Sugar -1 tsp
- Coriander leaves -1 tbsp

- Note: 3 tsp = 1tbsp

Directions
- Step 1 Take a pan add water
- Step 2 Add tomatoes
- Step 3 Add cashews
- Step 4 Add cinnamon stick
- Step 5 Add cloves
- Step 6 Add cardamoms and mix it well
- Step 7 Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes or spices turn soft and pulpy
- Step 8 Once it’s Cooldown, transfer to the mixer.
- Step 9 Grind it to smooth paste.
- Step 10 Heat a pan and add oil.
- Step 11 Add butter
- Step 12 Add bay leaf(tej patta)
- Step 13 Add chopped onion and saute it well until golden brown
- Step 14 Add ginger garlic paste and saute it well until the raw smell goes out
- Step 15 Add Coriander powder(dandiya powder)
- Step 16 Add Kashmiri red chilly powder
- Step 17 Add cumin powder
- Step 18 Add garam masala powder
- Step 19 Add Kasuri methi leaves
- Step 20 Add salt to taste and saute it for a minute
- Step 21 Pour the tomato and spice puree to the pan and mix it well
- Step 22 Add hot water and mix it well
- Step 23 Add paneer cubes
- Step 24 Add grated paneer and mix it well
- Step 25 Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes
- Step 26 Add fresh cream
- Step 27 Add chopped coriander and mix it well
- Step 28 Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with grated paneer and coriander leaves.
