SPICY GARLIC CHUTNEY RECIPE/ KARA POONDU CHUTNEY
Ingredients
- Garlic -one small whole bulb
- Dry Red Chilies – 8
- Tamarind – small gooseberry size
- Gingelly Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
Directions
- Step 1 Heat oil in a kadai/pan
- Step 2 Add red chillies and fry on low flame. Once done, remove it from the pan.
- Step 3 In the same pan, add garlic and saute for an minute.Remove from the pan.
- Step 4 Add small gooseberry size tamarind
- Step 5 Add salt to taste .First grind coarse then add oil little by little and proceed grinding. Dont add water while grinding
- Step 6 Serve with hot idlis / crispy dosa.This chutney ultimate combination to mudukathan dosai .
