Ingredients
- Chicken – 250 grms
- Small Onion – 10
- Tomatoes – 1 sliced thinly
- Ginger Garlic crushed– 1 tsp
- Jeera – 1 tsp
- Pepper crushed – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Water – 2 cups
- Gingelly /Sesame oil – 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves – few
- Salt - to taste
Directions
- Step 1 Heat a pressure cooker and add Gingelly /Sesame oil.
- Step 2 Add jeera and let it splutter
- Step 3 Add crushed small onion
- Step 4 Add crushed ginger garlic and saute it well (If you want more spice, add crushed green chilli as well )
- Step 5 Add chopped tomato and saute it well
- Step 6 Add turmeric powder
- Step 7 Add coriander powder and saute it well
- Step 8 Add washed and cleaned chicken pieces and saute well untill raw smell leaves.
- Step 9 Add crushed pepper powder.
- Step 10 Add two cups of water and let it boil
- Step 11 Add required salt and cover the lid. Pressure cook for 5 whistles.
- Step 12 Once pressure releases, open the lid and add coriander leaves.
- Step 13 Serve the soup hot.
