Ingredients
  • Mathi Fish (Sardine) - 1kg
  • Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Sambar powder - 2 tsp
  • Normal red chilly powder - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Directions
  • Step 1 Take a mixing bowl and red chilli powder
  • Step 2 Add Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • Step 3 Add sambar powder
  • Step 4 Add turmeric powder
  • Step 5 add salt to taste
  • Step 6 Add ginger garlic paste
  • Step 7 Add lemon juice and mix it well
  • Step 8 Add little bit of water and mix it well
  • Step 9 Add cleaned fish pieces and mix it gently
  • Step 10 Cover and marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Step 11 Take a tawa and add oil.
  • Step 12 Drop the masala coated fish one by one into the medium-hot .
  • Step 13 Roast in medium flame and keep rotating in between.
  • Step 14 Roast all sides gently, making sure that it doesn’t burn.
  • Step 15 Yummy mathi Tawa fish fry is ready to serve.
