Ingredients
- Dry Cornflakes(makai poha / corn poha) - 2 cups
- Peanuts -¼ cup
- Roasted Gram Dal (Pottukadalai) -¼ cup
- Cashews -¼ cup
- Curry leaves - a sprig
- Red Chilli powder- ½ tsp
- Salt -to taste
- Oil - to deep fry
Directions
- Step 1 Take a Kadai and heat oil.
- Step 2 Add peanuts and fry well until its turns crunchy and drain off
- Step 3 Add Roasted Gram Dal (Pottukadalai) and fry well until its turns crunchy and drain off
- Step 4 Add Cashews and fry well its turns crunchy and drain off .
- Step 5 Add Dry Cornflakes(makai poha / corn poha) and fry it well its turns crisp and drain off
- Step 6 Add salt to taste
- Step 7 Add red chili powder and mix it well(if you like the sweet taste you could add sugar also)
- Step 8 Corn flakes chivda with hot tea. Store in an airtight container.
