Rohu is most economical fish in the Indian market. You will get Rohu around 60-80Rs/kg in most of the days. It is also very healthy and enriched with omega-3 fatty acid which helps for good skin, proper brain function and eyes. The only negative side of this fish is bones. It has plenty of bones in a Y shape. So while feeding this fish to the kids, we have to be very careful. This masala is very special because it doesn’t separate the fish while frying.

Ingredients
- Rohu fish - 1/2 kg
- Rice flour - 1 tbsp
- Red Chilli powder - 3 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1tsp
Directions
- Step 1 Take a mixing bowl and add rice flour
- Step 2 Add red chilli powder
- Step 3 Add coriander powder
- Step 4 Add salt to taste
- Step 5 Add lemon juice
- Step 6 Add ginger garlic paste
- Step 7 Add turmeric powder
- Step 8 Add little bit of water and mix it well
- Step 9 Add cleaned rohu fish and mix it gently
- Step 10 Refrigerate for one hour.
- Step 11 Drop the masala coated fish one by one into the medium hot oil.
- Step 12 Stir occasionally and fry till fish turn crunchy.
- Step 13 Drain off the fish over a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
- Step 14 Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon juice and onion
