Soya Nuggets (Soya Chunks) is one of the best alternatives for meat dishes. It is known for high protein content- its exceeds than eggs, meat, milk. Soya beans are said to control blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol, regulate the bowels, and relieve constipation. I would suggest to include soya chunks meal maker occasionally (once in a week). Soya 65 recipe | Soya chunks fry preparation with step by step photos and a quick video.
Ingredients
- Soya Chunks - 1 cup
- Hot Water -3 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Turmeric Powder -¼ tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - ½ tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp
- Gram Flour - 2 tbsp
- Corn Flour - 1 tbsp
- Rice Flour - 1 tbsp
- Oil For Deep Frying
- Curry Leaves - few
Directions
- Step 1 Use medium-sized soya chunks for this recipe.
- Step 2 Take a mixing bowl and add soya chunks
- Step 3 Add hot water and stir it well
- Step 4 Let it soak for about 15 mins.
- Step 5 After 15 mins, the soya chunks will be soft and plump.
- Step 6 Squeeze out the excess water from it and transfer it to another bowl.
- Step 7 Add salt
- Step 8 Add turmeric powder
- Step 9 Add Kashmiri chili powder
- Step 10 Add coriander powder
- Step 11 Add ginger garlic paste
- Step 12 Add lemon juice
- Step 13 Squeeze and mix everything together.
- Step 14 Let it rest for 10 minutes
- Step 15 Add gram flour
- Step 16 Add rice flour
- Step 17 Add cornflour
- Step 18 Add garam masala powder
- Step 19 Mix everything well enough, to coat each soya chunk.
- Step 20 Slowly drop the soya chunks into the medium hot oil
- Step 21 Fry until they are golden brown in color.
- Step 22 Serve it hot with onion and lemon

Making of Soya 65 recipes | Soya chunks fry :
1. Take a mixing bowl and add soya chunks
2. Add hot water and stir it well
3. Let it soak for about 15 mins.
4. After 15 mins, the soya chunks will be soft and plump. Squeeze out the excess water from it and transfer it to another bowl.
5. Add salt
6. Add turmeric powder

9. Add ginger-garlic paste
10. Add lemon juice. Squeeze and mix everything together.
11. Let it rest for 10 minutes

13. Add rice flour
14. Add cornflour
15. Add garam masala powder and water. Mix everything well enough, to coat each soya chunk.
16. Slowly drop the soya chunks into the medium hot oil
17. Fry until they are golden brown in color.
18. Serve it hot with onion and lemon
