Garlic is always special and it brings a different flavor to any recipes that we make. When you grate garlic, the essence is even higher. Paratha is on another side where looks flaky and crispy which tempted to you have. When you mix both paratha ingredients and flavourful garlic together, it will bring out a wonderful recipe. I have added chili flakes for spicy and mixed herbs to enhance the flavor. This recipe can be easily served with pickle and curd as it contains all the necessary spices in it but can be served with any curry recipe. It can also go well with schezwan sauce.

Crispy multi-layered garlic paratha | Garlic lachha paratha preparation with step by step photos and a quick video
Ingredients
- Wheat flour -1½ cup
- All purpose flour -1 cup
- Semolina - ¼ cup
- Salt -to taste
- Sugar -1 tsp
- Baking powder -½ tsp
- Oil -2 tbsp
- Butter -3 tbsp
- Garlic -1 tbsp,grated
- Mixed herbs -½ tsp
- Chili flakes-½ tsp
- Coriander leaves -2 tbsp
Directions
- Step 1 Take a mixing bowl and add wheat flour
- Step 2 Add maida
- Step 3 Add rava
- Step 4 Add salt to taste
- Step 5 Add sugar
- Step 6 Add baking powder
- Step 7 Add oil
- Step 8 Add warm water as required and knead to the dough soft and smooth
- Step 9 Add oil and grease it well
- Step 10 Cover and rest it for 30 minutes
- Step 11 Take a mixing bowl and add butter
- Step 12 Add grated garlic
- Step 13 Add mixed herb
- Step 14 Add red chili flakes
- Step 15 Add salt to taste and mix it well. Keep it aside
- Step 16 Knead the dough for 2 mins
- Step 17 Take a small ball sized dough and make a ball
- Step 18 Add the dough into the dusted surface and roll it in a thin circle as of chapati.
- Step 19 Add garlic butter mixture and brush it well
- Step 20 Add chopped coriander leaves and press it gently
- Step 21 Start pleating the edges slowly and gather everything.
- Step 22 Roll it tightly and press it gently
- Step 23 Dust with some wheat flour and start to roll slightly thick
- Step 24 Place the paratha on the hot Tawa
- Step 25 Flip over the paratha and press it gently
- Step 26 Roast it on both the sides in medium flame
- Step 27 Serve garlic paratha hot with your favorite curry like paneer butter masala.
