Ingredients
- For Masala
- Oil -1 tbsp
- Shallots (Small onion) - 1 cup
- Cloves (Karampu/Lavang) - 4
- Cinnamon stick (Patta/Dalchini) - ½ inch
- Coriander Seeds - 3 tbsp
- Pepper (Milagu/Kali Mirch)- ½ tsp
- Poppy Seeds (Khus Khus/Kasa Kasa) - ½ tsp
- Coconut - ½ cup, Grated
- For Veg Gravy
- Oil -2 tbsp
- Carrot -1 ,chopped
- Beans- 5, chopped
- Potato- 1, chopped
- Fennel(Sombu/Saunf) - 1 tsp
- Shallots (Small onion)- ¼ cup
- Tomato-1.chopped
- Ginger garlic paste -1tbsp
- Garam Masala Powder -½ tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder -½ tsp
- Salt -to taste
- Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Directions
- Step 1 Take a pan and add oil
- Step 2 Add cinnamon stick
- Step 3 Add cloves
- Step 4 Add coriander seeds and saute it well
- Step 5 Add pepper and saute it well
- Step 6 Add poppy seeds
- Step 7 Add small onion and saute it well
- Step 8 Add grated coconut and saute it well
- Step 9 Once it’s Cooldown, transfer to the mixer.
- Step 10 Grind it to smooth paste.
- Step 11 Heat a pressure cooker and add oil
- Step 12 Add fennel(Sombu/Saunf)
- Step 13 Add chopped onion and saute it well.
- Step 14 Add ginger garlic paste and saute it well.
- Step 15 Add chopped tomato and saute it well.
- Step 16 Add chopped carrot.
- Step 17 Add beans.
- Step 18 Add chopped potato and saute it for a few minutes.
- Step 19 Add salt.
- Step 20 Add red chili powder.
- Step 21 Add turmeric powder.
- Step 22 Add garam masala powder (Homemade biryani masala powder) and saute it well.
- Step 23 Add the prepared masala paste and saute it well.
- Step 24 Add required water and mix it well.
- Step 25 Cover the lid and cook for 3 whistles.
- Step 26 Add coriander leaves and mix it well.
- Step 27 Serve it with chapati & parotta.

27. Serve it with chapati & parotta.
