I felt masala pav also a kind of variant from pav bhaji. It’s a famous street fast food recipe from Maharashtra and quite famous in Mumbai and Pune streets. It’s a delicious snack made with butter toasted buns and spicy onion tomato masala (almost similar to pav bhaji masala). Try this out for one of the evenings and hopefully you will like it.

Ingredients
- Pav (bread)- 2
- Butter -2 tbsp
- Ginger Garlic paste- 1 tsp
- Onion-1, finely chopped
- Capsicum- ½, finely chopped
- Tomato -1, finely chopped
- Kashmiri chilli powder - 1tsp
- Pav bhaji masala -1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water -¼ cup
- Coriander leaves-1 tbsp, finely chopped
Directions
- Step 1 Take a kadai and add butter
- Step 2 Add jeera and saute it well
- Step 3 Add ginger garlic paste and saute it well
- Step 4 Add chopped onion and saute it well until golden brown
- Step 5 Add chopped capsicum and saute it well
- Step 6 Add tomato and saute it well
- Step 7 Add chilli powder
- Step 8 Add pav bhaji masala
- Step 9 Add salt to taste and mix it well
- Step 10 Add water and mix it well
- Step 11 Scrape the masala to one side of pan.
- Step 12 Add butter
- Step 13 Cut the pav into half.
- Step 14 Toast it for a minute.
- Step 15 Turn over and spread a generous amount of prepared masala on both the pav.
- Step 16 Spread the masala over the pav and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
- Step 17 Serve masala pav hot with sliced onions and a piece of lemon.

7. Add chilli powder
8. Add pav bhaji masala
9. Add salt to taste and mix it well
10. Add water and mix it well
11. Scrape the masala to one side of the pan.
12. Add butter
13. Cut the pav into half.
14. Toast it for a minute.
15. Turn over and spread a generous amount of prepared masala on both the pav.
16. Spread the masala over the pav and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
17. Serve masala pav hot with sliced onions and a piece of lemon.
