BHINDI STIR FRY/VENDAKKAI PORIYAL/OKRA STIR FRY
Ingredients
- Bhindi -1/2 kg (vendakkai,okra)
- Shallots -1 cup
- Green chilli-2
- Red chilli -2
- Curry leaves - sprig
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Salt -to taste
- Coconut-1/2 cup grated
- Oil-2 tbsp
- mustard seed -1/2 tsp
Directions
- Step 1 Take the pan & heat the oil
- Step 2 Add mustard seed and let it splutter
- Step 3 Add chopped Shallot and saute well.
- Step 4 Add green chilli & red chilli and saute well
- Step 5 Add curry leaves
- Step 6 Add vendakkai(bhindi) and Saute till it shrinks in volume.
- Step 7 Add turmeric powder & salt and Saute well
- Step 8 Once the stickiness is fully gone and it turns dry add grated coconut and saute well
- Step 9 Serve hot with sambar, rasam rice
