Chilli Paneer is a delicious Indo-Chinese recipe and available in most of the Indian restaurants. This starter can go well with fried rice or pulao. Since we have intended to make it as a starter, the sauce can be slightly thick. Please adjust the quantity of soy sauce, red chilli sauce, green chillies, black pepper and vinegar as per your requirements or taste buds. This paneer chilli dry recipe gives a true restaurant-style taste and flavour.

Ingredients
- For Frying:
- Paneer (cottage cheese)-15 cubes
- Corn flour- 3 tbsp
- Maida -3 tbsp
- Pepper powder-½ tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Water -¼ cup
- Oil- for frying
- For Sauce:
- Oil-2 tbsp
- Ginger - ½ inch chopped
- Garlic- 5 chopped
- Green chilli-chopped
- Spring onion- 4 tbsp chopped
- Onion- 1 petals
- Capsicum -1 sliced
- Green chilli sauce-3 tsp
- Tomato sauce-2 tbsp
- Vinegar-1 tbsp
- Soy sauce -2 tbsp
- Red chili sauce- 1 tbsp
- Corn flour -1 tbsp
- Water- 2 tbsp
Directions
- Step 1 Take a mixing bowl and add cornflour
- Step 2 Add maida
- Step 3 Add pepper
- Step 4 Add salt
- Step 5 Add water and mix it well
- Step 6 Take a panner cube and add it cornflour slurry. Mix it well.
- Step 7 Deep fry the paneer cubes in hot oil and stir occasionally.
- Step 8 Once it turned to golden & crisp, drain out from oil. Keep it aside.
- Step 9 Take a frying pan and add oil.
- Step 10 Add chopped garlic and saute it well
- Step 11 Add chopped ginger and saute it well
- Step 12 Add chopped green chilli
- Step 13 Add spring onion and saute it for a minute
- Step 14 add onion cubes and sauce it well.
- Step 15 Add capsicum and saute it on high flame
- Step 16 Add soy sauce
- Step 17 Add vinegar
- Step 18 Add green chilli sauce
- Step 19 Add tomato sauce
- Step 20 Add red chilli sauce and mix it well
- Step 21 Take cornflour and add water.mix it well
- Step 22 Add cornflour slurry and stir continuously. Once’s its turns glossy
- Step 23 Add fried panner cubes and mix it gently.
- Step 24 Add spring onion and saute it for a minute
- Step 25 Serve chilli paneer recipe garnished with few chopped spring onions along with noodles or rice.
