Veg Bread Lasagna Recipe | Cheesy Lasagna with Bread preparation with step-by-step photos and a quick video.
Ingredients
- To make white sauce:
- Butter - 2 Tbsp
- All purpose flour- 2 Tbsp
- Milk -2 Cup
- Mixed herbs - ½ tsp
- Chilli flakes - ½ tsp
- Cheese -¼ cup
- Salt - to taste
- To make red sauce:
- Tomatoes - 5,ripped
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Garlic - 5 ,chopped
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Sugar - 1tsp
- Paprika - 1 tsp
- Mixed herbs - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
- Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
- To saute vegetables:
- Oil -2 tbsp
- Finely chopped garlic- 1 tbsp
- Onion - 1 chopped
- Carrot -1 chopped
- Capsicum - 1 chopped
- Boiled sweetcorn- ¼ cup
- Button mushrooms - 1 Cup
- Mixed herbs - ½ tsp
- Chilli flakes - ½ tsp
- Black pepper powder-½ tsp
- Salt - to taste
- To make Lasagna:
- White bread slices - 10
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 gm
Directions
- Step 1 Take the bread slices and flatten them using a rolling pin
- Step 2 Cut the edges.Keep it aside
- Step 3 Take a pan and add butter
- Step 4 Add maida and stir it continuously and cook for a minute
- Step 5 Pour 2 cups of milk and stirring continuously with a whisk.
- Step 6 Reduce flame to low. Continue stirring and cooking until the mixture starts to thicken.
- Step 7 Add salt
- Step 8 Add red chilli flakes
- Step 9 Add mixed herbs and mix it well
- Step 10 Add grated cedar cheese or mozzarella cheese and mix it well. Keep it aside
- Step 11 Take a pan and add oil
- Step 12 Add butter
- Step 13 Add chopped garlic and saute it well
- Step 14 Add onion and saute it well
- Step 15 Add carrot
- Step 16 Add capsicum
- Step 17 Add boiled sweetcorn and mix it well
- Step 18 Add button mushrooms and saute it for a few minutes
- Step 19 add salt
- Step 20 Add chilli flakes
- Step 21 Add mixed herb
- Step 22 Add pepper powder and mix it well
- Step 23 Spread little red sauce in a microwave-safe bowl
- Step 24 Add a bread sheet
- Step 25 Add red sauce and spread it well
- Step 26 Add white sauce and spread it well
- Step 27 Add grated cheese
- Step 28 Add stir-fried veggies and spread it well
- Step 29 Layer it with bread sheets, repeat the layering process until there are three layers formed. Or until it reaches the rim of your baking dish.
- Step 30 Bake it in preheated oven for about 180°C 20 minutes or until the cheese browns.
- Step 31 Bread veg lasagna is ready, cut in square and serve immediately.

25. Add red sauce and spread it well
26. Add white sauce and spread it well
27. Add grated cheese
28. Add stir-fried veggies and spread them well. Layer it with bread sheets, repeat the layering process until there are three layers formed. Or until it reaches the rim of your baking dish.
29. Bake it in preheated oven for about 180°C 20 minutes or until the cheese browns.
