Ingredients
- Chicken - 1/2 kg
- Shallots (Small onion)- 20
- Kashmiri red chilli - 5
- Curry leaves - few
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
Directions
- Step 1 Take a pan and heat an oil
- Step 2 Add mustard seed let it splutter
- Step 3 Add small onion and saute it well
- Step 4 Add kashmiri red chilli and saute it well
- Step 5 Add few curry leaves and saute it well
- Step 6 Add ginger garlic paste and saute it well
- Step 7 Add cleaned and washed chicken pieces and saute it well
- Step 8 Add turmeric powder
- Step 9 Add salt to taste and saute it well
- Step 10 Add half a cup water and mix it well
- Step 11 Cover the lid and cook for 15 minutes
- Step 12 once the chicken is cooked, remove the lid and mix it well for few minutes
- Step 13 Ready to serve
