Yellow Split peas contain high fibre, mineral content and low-fat content. Very often people confuse Yellow Split chickpeas with channa dal which also looks similar. Masala Keerai vada/Paruppu vadai is very famous in southern Indian states and you can find this vada in almost all the roadside tea shops. In this recipe, I have added Arai keerai (Amaranth) to make this dish unique and crisp. I am sure that kids would love to have this snack even though it contains more spinach.
