Bake at 350°F for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

The Best Banana Bread | How To Make Banana Bread preparation with step-by-step photos and a quick video.

Ingredients
  • Maida ( plain flour / all-purpose flour) -2 cups (254 grams)
  • Granulated sugar - ½ cup (100 grams)
  • Light brown sugar - ½ cup (100 grams)
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Ground cinnamon (optional) - ½ tsp
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Mashed banana -1½ cups (340 grams) (3 very overripe bananas)
  • plain yogurt or sour cream -¼ cup (60 grams)
  • Large eggs-2
  • Unsalted butter-3 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil- 3 tbsp
  • Vanilla extract -1 tsp
  • Raisins - ¼ th cup
  • Walnuts - ¼ th cup
Directions
  • Step 1 Preheat oven to 180°C.Generously grease a 9 by 5-inch loaf pan. Set aside.
  • Step 2 Take a mixing bowl and add flour
  • Step 3 Add granulated sugar
  • Step 4 Add brown sugar
  • Step 5 Add salt
  • Step 6 Add baking soda
  • Step 7 add cinnamon powder and mix it well. Keep it aside
  • Step 8 Take another mixing bowl and add roped banana and mash it well
  • Step 9 Add yogurt and mix it well
  • Step 10 Add butter
  • Step 11 Add oil
  • Step 12 Add vanilla extract and mix it well
  • Step 13 Add flour mixture and fold it gently
  • Step 14 Add walnuts
  • Step 15 Add raisins and mix it well
  • Step 16 Now pour the batter into the prepared baking pan then gently shake and tap the tin couple of times to spread the batter evenly.
  • Step 17 Bake it in preheated oven for about 60 minutes.
  • Step 18 Insert a toothpick at the center and see if it comes out clean. Else bake for 5 more minutes..
  • Step 19 Remove the cake pan from the heat and transfer the cake pan to a cooling rack. Allow cake to cool down completely.
  • Step 20 Now slice and enjoy your yummy banana bread

Preheat oven to 180°C.Generously grease a 9 by 5-inch loaf pan. Set aside.

 

1.  Take a mixing bowl and add flour

5. Add baking soda

6. add cinnamon powder and mix it well. Keep it aside

11. Add vanilla extract and mix it well

12. Add flour mixture and fold it gently

14. Add raisins and mix them well

15. Now pour the batter into the prepared baking pan then gently shake and tap the tin couple of times to spread the batter evenly.

16. Bake it in preheated oven for about 60 minutes.

17. Insert a toothpick at the center and see if it comes out clean. Else bake for 5 more minutes.

18. Remove the cake pan from the heat and transfer the cake pan to a cooling rack. Allow cake to cool down completely.
